RIVERSIDE TROUT FISHERY - MID GLAMORGAN

A 6.5 acre clear water and springfed lake, in rural setting surrounded by trees. Depth is between five and twenty feet. Stocked regularly with Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. The average stock size quoted is 2lb. A Boat is available at extra cost to the day ticket but the price is very reasonable. Toilet facilities are available.

Situated between Bedwas and Maesycwmmer, Riverside is made up of three lakes beside the River Rhymney. Offering quality trout and coarse fishing in a friendly environment with good facilities. There is a fully licensed bar with food available at very reasonable prices in the lodge overlooking the lakes.

Rod hire, tackle and bait are available along with basic tuition.

Trout Lake: 6.5 acre lake exclusively for Fly fishing with brown & Rainbow trout from 2lbs to 26lbs with an average weight of 2.4lbs to 3.8lbs.
Coarse Lake: One large lake heavily stocked with Carp to 37lbs, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench and Ide. A new 2-acre coarse lake is due for completion by the end of the year.
